What is DAGAL?
Is a unique project that aims to gather young imaginative people in picturesque and inspiring context of Alta Langa area (Piedmont region, Italy) and give them opportunity to discover and experience its cultural and natural potential, to develop an artistic outcome to its heritage, and draw attention of the outer world to this authentic place.

Inside the project young people can find a place and courage to see the world outside of usual socio/cultural echo chamber and safe zone, develop cross-cultural and crosslinguistic interactions using the one of most powerful tools - Art!

DAGAL APV
*The Advance Planning Visit is meant to involve youth in co-creation and preparation of activities for following Youth Exchanges

*Participants of APV will be also assigned to participation in 1st Youth Exchange
WHO
CAN PARTICIPATE
🔸youth workers / youth leaders with experience in Erasmus field and knowledge of youth exchanges
🔸experienced in Art or who have artistic skills that can contribute to the project
🔸passioned about arts, culture, with will to be the core of DAGAL: to create a link between artistic and cultural active people, through their work, new media and innovative arts
🔸18 - 26 years old (no maximum age limits for Group Leaders)
🔸who have a connection or a real interest in the topics of CREATIVITY, CULTURE and DIGITAL COMPETENCES
🔸residents in Italy, Albania, Egypt, Greece, Georgia, Portugal
🔸ready to take part in all the 3 parts of the project: Preparation, following Youth Exchanges and Dissemination
PROGRAM & DATES
Costs & Reimbursement
– Travel costs, accommodation, food and the program itself are co-funded by the European Union through the ERASMUS+ program

- There is participation fee to be paid upon arrival 20€. With this contribution each participant will obtain Parco Culturale membership that is valid until the end of the year and allows to participate in all three steps of the project (APV, 1st and 2nd Youth Exchange).
– The travel costs will be reimbursed for the amount shown in the original boarding passes, tickets and invoices, up to the limits indicated in the chart

- According to Erasmus+ regulation you can travel up to 48h before and after the APV, meaning in this case 25-26th May the earliest and 30th May the latest. Arrival day - morning 27th May, departure day - 29th May
– Please note that the amounts in the chart are the MAXIMUM amounts that will be reimbursed, all the costs exceeding these amounts should be covered by the participant as well as the costs for accommodation sustained in case you decide to start your travel before the arrival day and after the departure day
- VISA costs will be reimbursed according to the amount shown on the ORIGINAL documents, up to a MAXIMUM amount 100€
– For this reason, is essential that you keep and bring all the original tickets and invoices of the traveling and VISA

*private shuttles will be arranged in order to bring the group of participants from pick up point (that will be argeed after we receive travel plans from participants) to the accommodation of the APV in Monesiglio. The cost for the round-trip transport (20 euros per person) is already deducted from the original amount available for travel reimbursement.
VENUE
In Monesilgio, in the heart of the Langa hills (Piedmont), you will find a beautifully restored mill turned into a hostel. This is the perfect stop for those who wish to explore these sparsely populated valleys, full of forests and beautiful landscapes. It is the ideal destination for hikers, cyclists, groups as well as families. There are two mixed dormitories with 4 and 6 beds, each are separated with curtains and include cabinets to lock your belongings.
FOOD
​3 meals per day + 2 coffee breaks will be offered to participants. The food during the project will be vegan / vegetarian
CONDITIONS
Participants will be involved in light household duties (cleaning the common areas, checking that people are on time and similar)
POLICY
No alcohol is allowed during the working sessions to ensure active and positive involvement of the participants
